Our ministry exists to meet both practical and emotional needs. Whether a widow could benefit from financial assistance or simply the encouragement of receiving thoughtful gifts and cards, loved ones and church leaders are invited to apply on her behalf.

Financial Aid
Program
The financial aid program is set up specifically to care for widows who may be facing financial hardship without the support of a steady income. The Not Forgotten Foundation sends monetary support in the form of a check every three months as ministry funds allow. The widow also receives extra support for each dependent in her family.
We ask for an application by both a family member/friend as well as her pastor or other spiritual advisor to be able to best understand the need of the widow.
Gift Box Program
The gift box program is a tangible way that the Not Forgotten Foundation spreads joy and encouragement to widows who face discouragement and loneliness.
Widows in this program receive a gift every three months, alternating between a gift box full of her favorites and a bouquet of flowers from a local florist.
When filling an application for the gift box program, it is especially helpful for us when you enter as many specific details about things she likes so that we can send gifts that feel personalized to each individual widow.

Anniversary Bouquets
When a widow is enrolled in the financial aid or the gift box program, they are automatically signed up to receive a card on their birthday and a bouquet on their anniversary.
*We recognize that not all widows remember their wedding anniversaries with fondness due to the nature of the death or separation of their husband. We always send anniversary gifts with discretion given to each widow's story.
