Q: What about widows who are already financially taken care of?

A: Many widows who are financially cared for by their local church and family members often still face loneliness and discouragement. That's why we also offer the gift box program as a means of reminding widows that they are seen and loved.

Q: Is there any accountability for the funds that you are receiving and giving?

A: Yes, our board offers accountability and financial oversite. We are also a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, committed to operating with integrity, transparency, and compliance with all applicable nonprofit regulations.

Q: Is the Not Forgotten Foundation for conservative Anabaptist widows only?

A: While we recognize that there are many widows from diverse communities who would benefit from our programs, we are committed to meeting the needs of the Anabaptist community first.

Q: What about women who are not physically a widow but are operating as a widow due to the sin of their husbands?

A: We believe that operational widows are also close to the heart of God and we generously welcome them into programs. We use discretion when sending anniversary gifts due the sensitivities that these dates may bring up.
